At Kidbrooke Place, care is designed to support residents through different stages of life while allowing them to remain in a familiar and supportive environment. Whether someone is living independently, needs occasional assistance, or requires more dedicated care, our approach is practical, respectful and resident-focused.
Our goal is simple: to help residents live comfortably, safely and with dignity, while giving families confidence that support is available when it is needed.
One of the key benefits of living at Kidbrooke Place is that care is available within the same community. As needs change over time, residents can access additional support without leaving the environment and relationships they already know.
We offer a range of care services designed to support long-term living within the village.
Home-based Care
Respite Care
Healthcare Services
Wellness Hub
Emergency Assistance
Daily Monitoring
Health Assessments
Kidbrooke Place’s Wellness Hub serves as the centre for healthcare and support services within the village. It provides care for residents who require frail or memory care, while also supporting independent-living residents through primary healthcare and treatment services.
The Wellness Hub reflects Kidbrooke’s commitment to holistic, person-directed care that adapts to residents’ needs over time.
Kidbrooke Care Service is there to assist, firstly at home and, if necessary, in the Wellness Hub, preventing distressing situations particular to the individual concerned, while making every effort to ensure that other residents are not adversely affected.
At Kidbrooke Place, two days per year per cottage of respite care are provided for in the levies, covering board, lodging and care supervision at the Wellness Hub. Stays in excess of this period can be accommodated based on a daily tariff when required.
A monthly primary healthcare check-up is recommended and included in the services provided to all residents. The clinic is currently open on weekdays between 11h00 and 12h00. Services such as daily injections can be provided for a fee.
The Kidbrooke Care Service will do a basic care assessment of every resident, updated annually. Following the initial assessment, a personalised holistic care plan will be compiled together with the resident (and family as appropriate).
Emergency response to the village is provided by contracted experts Aidcall24/7 and an emergency response service provider. The trained operator will determine the action needed, and if necessary, an ambulance will be dispatched to Kidbrooke. In case of emergencies, you’ll push a pendant button which will alert the Aidcall24/7 off-site call centre. A voice connection by means of the care phone enables residents who have fallen to communicate with emergency staff. The trained operator will determine the action needed and, if necessary, an ambulance will be dispatched and Kidbrooke Place care staff will be alerted. If needed, residents’ emergency contacts will be notified of the situation. The Aidcall 24/7 service includes an optional
service by which a daily check will be performed on residents who have not pressed the appropriate button on the Care phone.
Home-based care services can be provided on an ad-hoc or continuous basis, supporting residents to remain independent for as long as possible.
Services include personal care, housekeeping, meal prep, companionship, nursing services such as wound care, medication management; other specialised services can be arranged.
In general, home-based care is often more cost-effective than a transfer to the Care Centre.
